The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Standard Training in Extensive Anti-Drug Preventive Education (SK STEP-UP) was conducted on August 25, 2024, at the Municipal Gymnasium. This training orientation program aimed to equip youth leaders with essential knowledge and skills to effectively contribute to anti-drug preventive education initiatives in their communities.it was also designed to standardize and enhance anti-drug preventive education efforts among youth leaders. IA V Michelle A Mission the Provincial Officer of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Batangas served as the resource speaker for the event. The Objective of this event is to enhance the understanding of drug abuse prevention strategies among youth leaders; To provide a uniform framework for implementing anti-drug education programs, and To empower youth leaders to become proactive in addressing drug-related issues within their respective areas. The training was attended by youth leaders from various barangays, including SK officials, youth organization members, and community youth volunteers. Approximately 500 participants engaged actively throughout the sessions. The SK STEP-UP training successfully achieved its goals, equipping youth leaders with essential skills and knowledge for anti-drug education. IA V Michelle A Mission’s expertise provided valuable insights and practical tools for effective drug prevention strategies.
