EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER (EOC) UPDATES
A coordination meeting was conducted today spearheaded by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) Chairperson and Municipal Mayor, Hon. Brigido A. Villena. This activity was held in response to the prevailing effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) currently being enhanced by Tropical Cyclone “Emong”, as monitored by DOST-PAGASA.
The meeting aimed to discuss the current situation in the municipality, assess potential hazards, and strengthen coordination among concerned offices to ensure proactive response and preparedness measures are in place for the safety and welfare of the community.
