𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟯𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱
The Barangay Disaster Response Team (BDRT) Rescue Olympics, held on July 30, 2025, brought together 20 barangays of Taysan in a showcase of teamwork, preparedness, and grassroots resilience.




In observance of the 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝 (𝙉𝘿𝙍𝙈) 2025, the activity was spearheaded by the 𝙈𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙍𝙞𝙨𝙠 𝙍𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 (𝙈𝘿𝙍𝙍𝙈𝙊), headed by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗢. 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘇𝗼.
It was conducted with the full support and approval of 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗱𝗼 𝗔. 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗮, and graced by 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗹𝗼𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗗. 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗹, who delivered an inspiring welcome message.
𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗔𝗜𝗠 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗨𝗘 𝗢𝗟𝗬𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗖𝗦 was to strengthen disaster preparedness and response capabilities at the grassroots level through simulation exercises, team challenges, and skill-based competitions.
We extend our deepest appreciation to all 20 participating barangays for their full commitment to this important initiative. Special recognition goes to the Barangay Disaster Response Teams, Barangay Captains, and Barangay Functionaries who showcased their skills, unity, and dedication to ensuring the safety and resilience of their respective communities.
We also express our heartfelt gratitude to Julie Ann Arpia Villadarez , Jonathan Mejico Campang , John Paul Rabano , Julie Anne Hornilla, Gladys Guttierez, and Erica Escala for their invaluable assistance and enthusiastic participation, which contributed greatly to the success of this event.
